Goldklank Resignes
Randi Goldklank, the former general manager at Channel 7 who was arrested back in April, has resigned from her position at WHDH/WLVI. Goldklank released a statement which reads, "I have decided to resign my position at WHDH and WLVI to continue focusing on getting healthy. I appreciate the support I have received from Ed Ansin and my friends and colleagues at WHDH and WLVI. I look forward to returning to work in the broadcast industry in the near future.” Friday morning Ed Ansin, station owner and President of Sunbeam Television Corporation released a statement,"this has been an unfortunate circumstance. Randi Goldklank is a talented executive. We wish her great success." There is not word yet from the station on who will replace Goldklank.

Merrill Takes Over TV38
Starting Monday June 16, Kate Merrill will begin anchoring the TV 38 News at 9. In addition to anchoring at 9, Merrill will also report for WBZ News at 5 and 6. Kate is an Emmy-award winning journalist. Seh joined WBZ in 2004 after reporting for WNBC-TV in New York. Merrill is a native of Carlisle, Massachusetts.

Another NESN Departure
We are learning that NESN's Sports Desk anchor Hazel Mae will be leaving the sports network at the end of the month when her contract runs out. She also hosted a popular Red Sox show called "Ulimate Red Sox Show." As you might remember back in February, Tina Cervasio left after failing to agree on a new contract. In a statement that Mae released today to the Boston Herald she says, "after four incredible and exciting years at NESN, I’ve decided now was the right time for me to make this difficult decision to leave."
